Carol Lander teaches cooking classes at her in-home culinary school aptly called La Cuisine Maison, located in the north central part of Dallas (Preston Hollow). Carol graduated from The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Dallas and she is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals and the American Culinary Federation. Last year in December I took a class with some of my co-workers in lieu of exchanging gifts for Christmas. This year we repeated our experience with another class. The following pictures are from the 2009 class, but we had another great class for 2010 and the focus of the recipes was Maple Syrup, as Carol had been on a trip to Montreal, Quebec, Canada recently.

If you are interested in taking a class from Carol, all of her contact info is on her website. You can also sign up for Carol's newsletter, which is full of interesting info, not to mention her cooking class schedule. I was excited to hear that Carol might even join the blogging community soon.
